JSONHack is a fully client-side application. All JSON formatting, validation, minification, and Base64 encoding/decoding operations happen entirely within your browser. We do not collect, store, log, or transmit:
- Any JSON data you paste or type into the tool
- Any Base64 strings you encode or decode
- Personal information such as your name, email, or address
- Files or documents you work with
- IP addresses tied to your tool usage
2. Analytics Data
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use JSONHack. This helps us improve the tool and user experience. Google Analytics may collect:
- Pages visited and time spent on each page
- General geographic region (country/city level)
- Device type, browser, and operating system
- Referral source (how you found JSONHack)
This data is aggregated and anonymized. It is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
